The Salt Lodge - Troon

My room was spotless overlooking the sea.

The marina views were fine, but the room cleanliness was disappointing.

the room was exceptional and airy with double bed. the location was brilliant, next to scott's restaurant, it's a plus.

We had peaceful 2 days here, would recomand. Fairly clean place and lovely friendly staff, really enjoyed nice location. Our room was bright and spotless with balcony, double bed plus crockery, just what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and scrumptious and had a wide range of meals. The service was excellent and the food was good. Took advantage of ironing, offered at no cost.

The Standard Room with Marina View was super comfy. Spotlessly clean and the bed was really nice. Everything you need was there, even snacks and drinks in the fridge. The balcony was small but perfect for chilling and watching the marina. The shower was powerful, and I loved the luxury bath with those Arran toiletries. Just a great space overall.

Fine marina views and thoughtful amenities

The attention to detail, like the welcome pack and dog treats. The room was modern and super clean, and the convenience of having on-site dining at Scott's served delicious breakfast options was fantastic. The only downside was that I wished for more dining choices nearby for dinner outside the hotel.

I was disappointed that the dog-friendly room had no door separating the sleeping areas. The strange wall in the middle of the room felt very unnecessary and cramped. It was really frustrating that the restaurant wasn't an option for dining with our dog, especially during such hot weather.

I enjoyed a friendly welcome and found the room super clean. The beautiful marina views made my walks around Troon more fun, with convenient access to McCallum Bagpipes just under 3 km away and the lovely Pavilion Cafe only a short stroll of about 1 km. A perfect spot for anyone like me who enjoys leisurely city explorations and park views.

I spent a lovely night in a beautifully arranged apartment with friendly staff, just 1.5 km away, perfect for my city strolls. The underfloor heating was a lovely touch was nice, but the front door could be a bit tricky to close properly at times, something to keep in mind.

The view from the Premium Room with Marina View was amazing. The cleanliness of the room stood out, reflecting high standards in housekeeping.

The location had limited parking options.

The apartment was super clean and very quiet. The comfortable beds ensured a great sleep. Having a microwave and hob was super convenient, along with all the needed cutlery and dinnerware. We loved the fluffy towels and a special shoutout to evelyn from housekeeping for providing extra towels. Plus, scott's restaurant right upstairs was a great option for meals with fantastic views of the marina.
